OUTDOOR LIVING BEYOND YOUR BACKYARD
The Farm at Cedar Hollow is a planned community located off NC HWY 150 and Cedar Hollow Road in Northern Guilford County.
The Farm at Cedar Hollow lies in the heart of a tract of more than 400 acres of woods and farmland once owned by the Jessup family.

Portions of the property were actively hunted and farmed until the 1980’s, when the initial residential communities on Cedar Hollow Road were created from the Jessup property.

Driving through The Farm at Cedar Hollow, you will readily see that developer Robert Jessup has made it a point to preserve the terrain and woodland character that first drew his family to this part of Guilford County more than 70 years ago. This commitment to sustaining the rural heritage of The Farm at Cedar Hollow makes it possible for families who enjoy an outdoor-oriented community to find the setting they are looking for just a short drive from Greensboro.

The amenities are designed to appeal to families who are attracted to outdoor and nature-oriented activities. Homeowners and their families will enjoy the green space and natural walking trails found throughout the community, along with a planned community outdoor activity area to open this year.

Multiple phases are underway, featuring beautifully wooded lots within walking distance of the new Haw River State Park. Homes range in price from $375,000 to $485,000.

Walking Trails
To help The Farm at Cedar Hollow residents experience the community’s natural beauty and tranquility, an extensive network of walking trails is planned to open next year.
The planned trails will give you the chance to make personal acquaintance with some of The Farm at Cedar Hollow’s original residents, including the native deer, wild turkey, and other wildlife that make their homes here. Current plans are for the The Farm at Cedar Hollow trail system to course along stream banks and common areas throughout the community. The trail network will enter the Haw River State Park, which is adjacent to the northeast boundary of The Farm at Cedar Hollow, and will connect to connect with North Carolina’s Mountains to Sea Trail, which is now being developed to traverse the state.
Haw River State Park
The Farm at Cedar Hollow adjoins one of North Carolina’s newest state parks, the Haw River State Park. Located along the banks and wetlands of the Haw River, the park is situated on nearly 300 acres of piedmont forest, fields, wetlands, and uplands. The Jessup family provided about 48 acres to the State to help enable the park expansion and land conservation to continue west of Church Street.

The HRSP is in the early stages of development for future public use. Activities at the park center around the Summit Center, a retreat and conference center now operated as a residential environmental education center. As land acquisition continues and HRSP grows and develops, the park will be able to provide additional recreational opportunities—initial plans include picnicking, camping, and hiking opportunities.
